You could do this in seconds with any LFO module in a music program.

@ilabstudios You could, but it wouldn't be as fun.

Nice project Mr MichaelUna. I like the fact that you just got it together using solderless breadboard: you get quick results and no messing with time consuming soldering. It looks like you used transistors to buffer the o/p of the 4017 decade counter? I built a 76477 chip synth but could never get the noise gen envelope to function. Some of these chips come off production line with slight faults, I've noticed. Great song too, I'll add! 8-)

@hoofbags I've come up with an updated design since this video and am working on getting some PCB's made. In this one, the transistors on the 4017 are used to select between the sine/noise functions.
I haven't had much luck with the volume envelope, so it may be that my chip is faulty in that regard. Or, I just don't understand it properly.

I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!
Is that a midi cable?
if yes whats it doing?

Good eye- that is indeed a MIDI cable. In this video, the sequencer is being driven by an internal clock, but I've got MIDI clock input figured out and you'll be able to switch between them.
I'll post another video soon synching this mofo with a MIDI source and blending the two audio parts together.
