@ghfan317 He shows hints of being crazy and hysterical in season 2 and 3 but the last two seasons put it into overdrive and he became so crazy that he was borderline retarded. Eric in season 1 isn't even Eric. If they stayed with Eric, he would have been a little stale comically.

of all the character's on this show, eric just has an insane transformation from start to finish, he went from high school girl crazy hottie, or hysterical crazy big brother, its so fun to watch him change.
