Can't someone just sing a song because they like it? Courtney can be independant and doesn't always have to be grouped with Kurt. She is a great musician in her own right and should not always be held up next to his body as a reason for all her musical inspiration. She was playing the music he got famous for long before he did.

she didn't write this for kurt (because it's a velvet underground cover) but she might have sung it for kurt
at least that's the feeling i get when i listen to this... according to the emotion in her voice and because she changed some of the lyrics
i love the original and i love this cover too... maybe i even like this cover more because of the screams when she sings linger oooooonnn your pale blue eyes!!!
