BF3 Vehicle Health System: How it Works (Beta)

Battlefield 3 health system for vehicles is very different from any previous battlefield game. Vehicles can become disabled, light on fire and recover health on their own. I attempt to explain how the system works based upon things I saw in the beta to hopefully give you a better understanding of the system if you didn't get much time in vehicles in the beta. Things may change a bit by the final release but this should still give you at least a rough idea of how it works.

The 60% is also applicable to jets and heli?

@TheGreatMandalore as far as I could tell the 60% holds true on aircraft. There is also a late unlock specialization called 'extinguisher' that will put the fire out, not sure though if that effects the fact that you are disabled though and will then let your health regen.

all the games i get in to do not have jets and tanks ect how do i get them???

i have this game how do i use vehicles? I'm new to this game and big change from mw3.

i think vehicle disabled is kinda stupid. it robs you of you kill. for instance u get a hit with a stinger on a jet, its disabled sure but the guy just bails out. same with other vehicles.

Very good tut man. It took me a little while to figure out what the hell was going on with vehicles also but this did clear up alot! :D
