@dadam88 It's called blind nationalism.. but that flag represents a lot. The red stands for the blood sacrificed for freedom, the white stands for secession from England, the blue stands for Vigilance and Justice. The Stars and Stripes represent American colonial heritage. Today the flag is used to brainwash the masses, unfortunately.

It's a piece of cloth on a stick. A metaphor. What he did was not disrespectful, or anything like it. Just because he's bored from sitting in arena for hours watching swarms of people go by, or has to pee or something, deosn't mean he thinks less of his country, or the flag for which it stands. Come on, it's not like he sat on it, burned it, stepped on it, buried it, spat on it, or anything like that. I think he was bored.
Oh, and I'm anti-Bush.
