In which I observe a 'New Way Forward' demonstration at the Texas Capital Building on April 11, 2009. This was orgainized by some left wing group, the folks seem to want to nationalize the banks.

I've heard a rumor that these demonstrations are a left wing answer to the vairous 'Tea Parties' that have been going on around the country.

There is a Tea Party scheduled for Austin on April 15th, I'll try to cover that as well.

  • Jim I did not accuse you of censoring me, i literally mean you tube because for the second session i have tried to post up my comment many times only to frustration and no success. but some how this one post

  • One thing about Youtube is that it won't record a comment that has a url in it, so that may have been part of the problem.

  • Also note as i tried to defend a certain man who is mentioned by the film maker in this video begins with A and has last name with J. However that comment as many times as i tried to post it would not, clearly you tube has a roll to play in censorship.

  • ForTheGoodCC, you need to take a chill pill.

I put up a three minute video that shows some folks having a little meeting. From that, you've gone wild with all sorts of assumptions about what you think I think, which are pretty far off the mark btw.

As far as A...J, I didn't 'censor' any of your comments about him, but he can kiss my Texas rear end, he's an idiot and his followers are all simpletons at best.

  • For innocent bystanders, 'A...J' is a man named Alex Jones, who says I and my son, as members of the military, are plotting to put you in concentration camps.

  • I watched the video, several times. You gave a incorrect summary of the agenda of the protest. You called the demonstrators "misguided", implying you disagree with the solution proposed. Protesting the propping up of insolvent institutions is a nonpartisan issue, don't inject partisan politics (left v right).

  • I said the demonstrators were good people who are not crazy, but misguided.

The crisis was caused by the government specifically the government policies that forced banks to make loans to unqualified homeowners.

    The protesters are misguided.

There's nothing 'partisan' about my video at all.

  • No Jim, i am not promoting a web site, for the third secession i have tried to upload the comment and would not post with success, i will message you my comment and you can try to post if you would like to prove a point. Again i left his name out and it post.

  • Jim these videos are awesome you are doing. I cracked up when you said about the liberals "These are good people they aren't crazy..misquided but not crazy lol". Your awesome man 5 stars.

  • Hopefully you are still employed, but for many americans unemployement has become a reality and we are all feeling the economic crisis. It is not the homeowners defaulting on morgateges that is to blame but the system! you sir are the one who is misguided.

  • These are finacial intitutions that voluntarily ignored risks to cash out on millions, and on top of that took our morgatages to make more paper money. These banks must be nationalized, not because we are socialist's but because they can not be allowed to fail, or else we would suffer even more. So we must take them over, make an ohnest evaluation of finacial stability, and break them up into many banks so they are not to big to fail.

  • Not even the gov can be blamed for the industry's creative way of making financial instruments such as credit default swaps, or "low risk" securities bundled together with sub-prime mortgages. The gov can be blamed for not seeing the risk theses financial instruments posed to our economy. You see it's not about the homeowners who took out these loans, its about the system and it's players who only look to create paper money that is designed to collapse.
