Rep Don Young Urges Producing American Energy & Opening ANWR

I just don't understand why our own congress is intent upon keeping us under the thumbs of foreign dictators. We have the technology to develop our own resources and be environmentally conscious at the same time. To allow radical environmentalists to dictate all that we do is completely insane. Our stupid, crappy congress needs to step up and do the right thing for the nation and get us energy independent. Starting NOW.

Clinton vetoed it because of the deal Kissinger made! There are all in it together. Sarah Palin is the only candidate running who is not a member of the CFR or TLC...she knows we should be drilling!

abookaday: I saw that video and read his books which are very telling and while written in the early 80's aligns perfectly with everything happening today and why we are in his mess with the oil. You are absolutely right and if anyone would read Lindsey's books you will be amazed and enlightened! Sadly, this is the issue and why they have stalled the drilling! Sarah Palin probably understands this and that is why she is fighting for it to stop!

There's only ONE reason we are not drilling for oil in this country - it's because the "leaders" in the Senate and House - namely Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid (along with their partners in crime, Schumer, Frank, Dodd, Durbin, Leahy, and the rest of the Liberal idiots in Congress) - are in the pocket of the Greenies. It's simple; allow new exploration and oil production? No graft and no vote - and no next term! Our beloved country? Our security? Fuggedaboudit!

And there lies the problem.They do protect the environment I have been to the North Slope,they are doing the best they can. You could eat off the floor at some of those wells. Safety precautions are followed. Environmentalists have their agenda. I Just don't understand what they want to accomplish.

Mr. Clinton vetoed that bill because the oil company's were financing his re-election campaign, he didn't care about anything but his own agenda, getting re-elected! Just like his sidekick Mr. Gore, He's on a mission for global warming, why didn't he pursue that when he was Vice pres for 8 years? Because the oil company's were paying him too!
