@TinyBlueCage Indeed, our social and political aspects have remain stationary for some time yet our technology has vastly changed. There seems to be a large gap between what science discovered and what the public knows. You should read "Looking Forward" by Jacque Fresco. It is a marvelous book that helps shake off some of the primordial slime we have inherited from our previous generations so that we can intelligently avail ourselves of a world far better than ours.

@2dogarage It may be a deadly weapon but it is not technology that does harm. It is the current value structure conditioned upon us. We react with the conditions of our environment to develop a pattern of reaction that can, under certain circumstances, lead to warped behavior. All the apparently unsolvable problems of today can be solved through the intelligent application of the scientific method. Were men to be conditioned in sane ways crime, greed, bigotry, etc would vanish.

@nagasnharpes its because of free will.. uneved wealth and power, goverments. Theres supposed to be a single bank one food chain shop one cellphone provider one internet provider. Economy is worse than ever. Wars at least brought innovations and funded science. We don';t necessarily need war for advance. Countries should not have diferent currencies and walls.. People who commit crimes with undeniable proof should be executed on spot. No person could abuse power some sort of,,,
