They just apssed a new rule for all Firefighters in Chattanoga. No more smoking, the guys and girls working are Grandfathered in but any new hires have to take a drug test for tobacco! I can't believe it! I would think that it would be best for Firefighters to be around and be able to extinguse all kinds of fires! And the health arguement is that the smoke is bad for your health. Dang, You guys are around smoke all the time~

Yeah I heard about that. The reasoning i heard was because they couldn't tell if firefighters were getting cancer and lung problems from their habits, or from work related activities. But that will never happen in KY. There are too many of us that smoke and dip.
