  • @surgeyX 24-bit audio has more headroom, which is much better if you're using it to record. Trust me, the higher bit depth, the better.

  • @Pythonpathan Get a REAL Sequencer and you can map it to any midi pedal you want

  • this review sounds like 8 bit sample crab..

  • Can u do seamless punch recording with this thing and GarageBand ?

  • 24-bit audio is not worthless..never has been. If you have the proper speakers (meant reasonably hi fidelity) and 24bit AD converters that are beyond that crappy creative stuff you'll hear the difference in reverb trails and other areas. But that's not even the most important. 24-bit gives you headroom in editing and processing that 16 bit doesn't

  • 24-bit audio is kind of a hype that's worthless imho...if you listen to a 16-bit and 24-bit track side by side you won't be able to tell the difference.

  • ombor10,

The expression pedal input is for an expression pedal to control the wah effects or volume in garage band, logic, and mainstage. If you go to the website, it says you can use bass as well. Although the Duet is a great interface, the GiO gives you the ability to use it as an actual pedal board. It records in 24-bit resolution, which is better than CD quality (16-bit). As a guitar player, this is an amazing peace of hardware. :)

  • i so want this i have the duet and that things is amazing on its own if anybody is concidering it bet it its really great

  • what is the expression pedal input for? could I connect an Wah Wah pedal there? What if I use a microphone with this interface? could I use this interface with other instruments like bass guitar? what would be the advantage and disadvantages versus the apogee duet?

  • With this apogee dio, Is the guitar recording quality as good as doing the recording with the apogee duet interface?
