  • I think it would be accurate to say that there are a good number of people who don't appreciate opera in general. This is a gorgeous piece of music- but if you don't have the insight to appreciate it, I could see how you wouldn't like it very much. When I was in High School, I was a self-professed opera hater; but then I took the time to educate on it- now I can't get enough. Start with Puccini or Donizetti, and move up to this stuff later when you have more knowledge about this genre. :)

  • To those who put down opera, maybe you should try to think about the hours these people who sing inn them spend on learning to sing. I have respect for opera because if I put it down, I wouldn't be well rounded. Yeah, so opera isn't my favorite thing, but I sure respect the art of it. I know the hard work they put into singing and performing.

  • I want to like this. I really don't but I want to. I've been asked to choreograph to Stomp Your Foot for an upcoming choir concert. Maybe it'll grow on me.

  • My school is currently doing this production. I'm not a fan.

  • Stomp your foot begins at 2:51

  • my college is currently doing a production of this god awful opera. it is almost just as bad as this production i am currently studying.
