I'm also a UU and I think Garrison does us a favor by joking about us. It's not like you hear 'Unitarian' all over the media landscape. Besides, if you can't laugh at yourself once in a while, you are missing the point.

Has Keillor looked at his demographics lately? Unitarian Universalists love Prairie Home Companion and now we're hopping mad. Not only is this parody mean, it's wrong.
The old fashioned Christmas most people long for is a gift of the Unitarians - Charles Dickens, Louisa May Alcott, Rev. Charles Follen (introduced Christmas tree to America) and Catharine Sedgwick (who wrote popular novels about the true meaning of Christmas), Unitarians all.
