#3 ..What is the point of putting the veggie oil in? Surely you use that to cook the chicken, not cook the sauce? And does the stuff in with the pasta make a difference?

Veggy oil stopps it sticking to the base of the pan. 'The Stuff' In the pasta is pepper corn and bay leaf, and although it does more good in rice than pasta it still gives it more taste than bland pasta
you could eat that pasta on its own and it would taste good.

my sauce never sticks... and since you're putting the pasta into the sauce why do you need to make it not bland? *has never cooked with peppercorns or bay leaves before*

because you can still taste it but its not fused with the sauce. It only does that if you cook it in the sauce. this way it has a taste of its own and the whole meal doesnt taste all of the same taste. This is also why i cook it so fast so it doesnt have a chance to blitz and mix the ingrediants
