This is 500$, it has 30 gigabytes and it also has 512 RAM. Thinking back just four years ago, it was like twice the price for a laptop with similar specifications.

That's more like a netbook than a UMPC.
UMPCs are pocket-sized and convenient.
Netbooks are small-backpack-sized and considerably less convenient.

i think it could be useful that keyboard thing, like when you are doing an interview on the street and it is quite hard to tipe one handed on an laptop or on "tradisional" UMPC... but i cant say, need to try it first..

I like this but not going to buy one as I don't need it that badly and cannot afford that much for something I don't need that badly.
