As a communications technician, I've been working long hours in Houston and Galveston restoring services post Hurricane Ike. I got a few minutes to sight see on Galveston Island before they open it up for the residents. The island is in very bad shape, but we all have hope.

  • Man, that's sad: my favorite place in Texas is Galveston Island and surrounding areas. Y'all are in my prayers.
