チャイ(マサラチャイ)の入れ方・レシピです。チャイは紅茶と牛乳を煮出して作るインド式ミルクティーのこと。生姜やシナモン、カルダモンなどのスパイスが入ったマサラチ­ャイは、冷え性や健胃、風邪のひき初めなどに効果があります。
How to make Chai(Masala Chaie).

1杯分のカロリー125kcal

【材料(2人分)】
シナモンスティック‥‥4cm
クローブ(ホール)‥‥2粒
カルダモン(ホール)‥‥2粒
生姜スライス‥‥2枚
紅茶‥‥8g
水‥‥160cc
牛乳‥‥160cc
黒砂糖‥‥小さじ2

【Ingredients (2 servings)】
4cm cinnamon stick
2 whole cloves
2 green cardamom pods
2 slices fresh ginger root
8g black tea leaves (preferably Assam)
160cc water
160cc milk
2 teaspoon brown sugar

【作り方(レシピ)】
1、鍋に水を入れる
2、シナモンを半分に折って鍋に入れる。
3、カルダモンはキッチンバサミで2~3つに切りながら、種も皮も鍋に入れる。
4、クローブはそのまま加える。
5、生姜のスライスも加えて火にかける。
6、沸騰したら紅茶を加え、火を弱める。
7、2分間煮て紅茶の色やスパイスの香りを出す。
8、牛乳と砂糖を加えて火を強める。
9、沸いてきたら火を弱め、鍋底が焦げつかないように時々ヘラでかき混ぜながら、1分半煮る。
10、茶濾しを使って注ぎ分けて出来上がり。

【Recipe】
1、Place water in a pot.
2、Break cinnamon stick in two and add in a pot.
3、Cut cardamom into 2-3 pieces with scissors and place it in a pot.
4、Add whole cloves.
5、Add ginger slice and bring to a boil.
6、When the water boils, add the black tea and turn down heat to low.
7、Simmer for 2 minutes.
8、Add milk and sugar and turn up heat.
9、Bring to a boil. Then lower heat and simmer for one and a half minutes. Stir liquid constantly.
10、Strain tea into two cups and serve immediately.
