he has a "disclaimer" at the begining that says he messed with reality; I don't think he was presenting this as Renettos actual words... Renetto never said all those people were gay... that's what makes it funny

That's what makes it funny. Plus Renetto was walking a fine line here... He's out to find a "real black person" and then suggests that an African person is "blacker" than an American of African decent? Finally, being parodied is a form of flattery. It means you have risen above commonality to be in the public discourse.

Me too! Hit or miss--more miss than hit. He actually said Steve Chen is the closest to a black person that he was subscribed to. This could be a racist remark, but if you give Renetto the benefit of the doubt, you conclude that he meant to say, Steve Chen, being Asian, is a minority in the US and African Americans are minorities as well. For the most part, In the US, we get along well. There are certainly many less diverse nations with greater racial tension than ours. Renetto begs parody!

I like Renetto, but I do see how he can rub some people the wrong way. And I think that, from what he's said, that he is fine with that. Hey, you feel how you feel. That's what this all about. It's a place where you can say exactly what you feel.
