Ms. Lauren Mitchell was one of the musical performers at an antiwar rally in Lafayette Park, opposite the White House, on May 14, 2007. She sang the ballad, "Dear Mr. President!" Ms. Mitchell is from Sarasota, FL. She is a Peace activist and organizer with the Code Pink organization in her home state. She told me as the demonstrators from the park were marching on the U.S. Capitol, that the author of the song, "Dear Mr. President," is "Pink." Ms. Mitchell was introduced to the crowd at Lafayette Park by Code Pink's leader, Medea Benjamin.
See for details about the rally for Peace:

Nice song and sentiment. Too bad it's falling on deaf ears. Bush's only concern has been making his super rich friends richer and sending OTHER people's children to fight HIS war to advance the neocon agenda.
