Quake Live - RAZ3R Strafe Pads

This is my first time beating the first part of the strafe jump pads.

Hours of mind numbing failure for 12 seconds of success. It's worth it. Keep at it.

ok i dont want sound any mean but thats not impressive...

But happy to hear how you enjoyed of that one :D i over jump those first pads always i have to make normal jumps (keeps speed up) to get myself syncd im now trying to pass number 5 and i see that you strafe too much to both sides so you lose some of real speed and you miss pressed first two jumps (mean you didnt syncd pressings fully) but hey just practice hard happy video :D

how did u get to that place i can only strafe on levels not like that place with pads. ive seen people in areas that dont include ql how do u get to the place with tiles

haha ye, it is huh :). I did the same thing but with q4 and on TJ's Home Beta. at 1st I was liek how the fuck am I supposed to do this? ofc no one was on the same server, I was alone training , it took me about 4 hours by myself for it to click, but learning without anyone telling you is quite an experience. soon I realized there was a certain "feel" to the mouse that would give you a burst of speed. hell ye, good job man.
