Belzer is right-people that have fought in Vietnam and now in Iraq tend not to be college educated-nothing the matter with that and what he was trying to say is they become cannon fodder for the politicians;especially the republicans who run their big mouths about patriotism but in actuality  would be too chicken to actually go over and risk their life for their so called "great cause." In fairness, a lot of people in the US military, at least those who aren't in the USMC, Seals etc., and those who are just basic grunts, join the Armed Forces because they come from a two-bit town, they can't afford to go to college or aren't inclined, and there are no other job prospects. There's nothing wrong with admitting that. It doesnt' mean that they aren't honourable of course, but a lot of military in US are economic conscripts.

They don't PLAN to go to war, idiot. In fact, MOST of the US Armed Forces have NOT been in a combat zone, at least acc to stats I read last year.
