Throughout the entire thing he asserts they know nothing and he knows everything; that the opinions of MEMBERS OF THE 99% who DIED FIGHTING to make Iraq an effective Mosquito Magnet for terrorists should be dismissed. The only opinions that count are those in agreement with a pampered, greedy, gaping-asshole comedian/actor on a stupid ego trip who took $1.5 MILLION for getting A LITTLE CUT ON HIS HEAD.but DEMANDED $5 MILLION.

this is the view of 99% of the liberals in America. they hate the Troops and think they are all baby killers. Very few of them will think about joining the Service to defend the right to say this vile crap that they say.

And, yes, the people serving in Iraq just may know more about the war than people who read twenty newspapers a day. At least they are not reading the propoganda, for or against, the war and they are aware of things that do not make the papers.

Belzer is an arrogant, conspiracy theorist. It's typical of the Vietnam-generation to have such a condescending attitude towards the military. In truth, a variety of people go into the service and I have known my share of them. The guys who go into the service because they have no clue what to do next can get washed out during basic training. There are also bright young people who thoughtfully choose military service. Belzer himself is guilty of over-generalizing.

I think Bill Maher was going a bit overboard himself, calling out Belzer like that just because what? he raised his voice a little more and said "fucking"? what was he being a too aggressive? So fucking What!
