@JEMOMER Maturity and being playful are not mutually exclusive. Play with your children and make them laugh - video games and playing with your children are by no means under the same category of action.
One is a waste of time, one is a Sunnah. So no worries

of course the average 13 year old girl in sudan is incredibly more mature and responsible than a 13 year old girl in US but thats because she HAS to be, life expectancy in sudan is extremely low and poverty is extremely high. kids in the US should be able to play video games and talk about sports they should enjoy their childhood as best they can.

whats wrong with being silly in front of your kinds and playing and making them laugh?isnt there a hadith about how the prophet was different inside his home that outside,inside he was playfull,&out side he was more serious still smiling of course but you get the idea.i got kids&im 30 and i role around on the floor with them, i got2girls and im a guy who sits down and makes dolls talk and has fake tea partys.ye that sounds gay but what do you do when you got two daughters,you cant play ninja lol

The speaker doesnt meant it like that for sure :) Even if he basically wouldve said that we all know that if we'd ask him he would explain it differently.

One should not get extreme cause of this. Like i said it's his personal opinion. I also still play Video games. :) Still, he said something to refelct on.
