1960 Martini Challenge

Russia wins the Challenge Martini. The 18th International Challenge Martini in electric foil saw the clear superiority of the Soviet fencers. Despite the beautiful resistance of the French fencer Magnan and the British fencer Jay, the final came down to two Soviet fencers: Svechnikov and Sissikine (on the left on the right, respectively). Sissikine demolished his young comrades-in-arms, 10-6. It is the first time that the USSR won the Challenge Martini.
