Thanks for ALL that you are doing to save our precious Gulf Coast wildlife. Please continue to pray the most innocent victims of this spill.

nodlon20-- It is my understanding that all the birds that are rehabilitated are released into clean areas that are approved by federal and state agencies, as well as by the IBRRC. These people qualify, at least in my mind, as heroes. They do not have to do this job; it's a labor of love. Good on you.

Wow... surprised the bird doesn't die from stress during the washing process.

I Love see people getting involoved and helping but, it's just inexcusable that this had to happen!

I would love to Help.....Whom do I tell????
You know; I see a lot of mixed reactions about this; but I think that even if many of these animals die anyways, and even if thousands are washing up on the shores: at least these people are doing SOMETHING to try to help. It may seem futile, but these guys aren't giving up just because it looks impossible. Impossible is just a word used as a reason not to try.

I would like to become certified to wash oiled birds. If anyone knows how I can do this, please contact me. Thanks.
