Love this place, been camping at Boards Crossing since I was 3 months old, thanks to my grandparents for finding this treasure. I remember when there was word of the dams, my Grandmother wrote letters to stop the damming. I remember hearing about the gentleman chaining himself to the river. Amazing, what he did.
Owe a lot of thanks to him for helping to save Stanislaus River.

I hope this movie gets made. As someone who also found incredible joy rafting this river in my youth, Mark was a hero to me and still is. He is a man who let his heart guide him to take a stand for what he believed in. His courage and compassion have so much to teach us. Thank you Mark!
