Back in the fifties, my mother had six stillborn babies before they adopted me. In those days, it was never discussed, and the idea of taking pictures would have been shocking. She has been gone for ten years now and I will never really know how that enforced silence affected her.

Who doesn't like this!? I had pictures done when I lost my son shortly after birth, and they are amazing!

How awful to have something alive in you, growing, then it all ending just when it's supposed to begin. God bless all babies who become angels. <33 A lost baby is not something to move on from, these people are making sure they will never be forgotten.

this is really sad! but i have to be honest it's a little unsettling seeing pictures of a dead body, but i guess to the parents they aren't thinking about that.
