Even though it was Saturday today, it stormed like Monday.

Strat2caster came up this time to see me, and a grand time was had by all on many cool songs, including Stormy Monday, originally by T-Bone Walker and made truly famous by The Allman Brothers.

I do my best to stay on top of the rhythm part -- Strat2caster did the rest.

  • I post T-Bone Walker's original every Monday on my Facebook, but I might have to start posting this one. Those blues fall down like rain.

  • that was pretty good. maybe you should take a bit of the dirt out of the strat on the left and try a few major leads which sound really good too with this song. other than that it was great

  • three thumbs up

  • Ok, nice job! Leads are very nice, clean and soulful. I might have used a different sound for the leads but if it's your thing I can live with it. Nice job!! Joey Vaughan "World Blues Attack"

  • very nice Rythm guitar and great vocals. Perhaps you'd consider posting a version with NO lead, for lead pickerds to work with? There's a HELLUVA lot more to being a good picker than just speed and flash. Laying in tasty leads that complement a vocal rather than detracting from it is a skill difficult to develop from the vocal-less jam tracks most of us tend to practice to.

    Thanks.

  • way too much wah and he tried to play fast

  • agreed

  • i like the playing but the blue TONE for the lead is to trebley
