Mega Man Playthrough Part 2/5: It's Hard NOT To Die In This Game

It's part two of my Mega Man playthrough, and the rust comes back to haunt me in this one. That or I try to play too cute in certain parts of the game. Thank god I don't consider myself a "master" in the game, unlike speed runners and those of the like.

This part contains Elec Man's and Ice Man's Stages, both of which took much longer than it should, especially coming from me. But I guess it adds a bit of the regular gamer aspect of things, maybe.

Stage Overview:
Elec Man - For the most part, things went along relatively smoothly despite how ungodly long this stage is. That is until the very end where I show why I don't try to kill the Big Eyes AT ALL as I took two unnecessary hits rather than just take one and go. It was fortunate that I was able to actually face IN FRONT of Elec Man rather than having my back towards him. Othewise, I would have sufferred a death. No death occurred in this stage.

Ice Man - I have more trouble in this stage than any other stage. Not because of those vanishing blocks, but because of those floating platforms that fire at you while trying to cross that long pitfall stretch. Their pattern is so erratic that I can't position the Magnet Beam properly, and you see the results; not to mention those flying penguins doesn't help much during the second half of the crossing. As for Ice Man, with the Elec Beam, he's easy; no "select trick" necessary. In the end, this stage took way too long than what it should, oh well. One death occurred in this stage.

These runs could have been a lot better, but, meh. Trying to be perfect in this game is like convincing someone he's a god. (Gill, anyone?)

This level was a pain in the ass to begin with, but I got used to the enemies and traps and got through to Elecman.
