The theme of this year's Easter service was "Rise," based on this song by Robbie, so it was good to see him rock it out so hard.

To answer your question: yes, this is not totally live audio, though some of it is. We weren't able to record the concert audio, but we needed to put together this video for a promotion we did, so we touched up the album track to make it sound a little more live and used it instead. For the record: Robbie was NOT singing to a track on this song. He sang it live, and he killed, like he always does.

  • To answer everyone's questions: yes, this is not live audio. We weren't able to record the concert audio, but we needed to put together this video for a promotion we did, so we touched up the album track to make it sound a little more live and used it instead. For the record: Robbie was NOT singing to a track on this song. He sang it live, and he killed, like he always does. The reason he matches up so well to the CD track is that he plays the song to a click track, like most bands do.

  • Hey who is his guitar player I say him play with shane and shane on their xmas tour with bethany dillon and he has amazing tone

  • That's Taylor Johnson, who absolutely does have amazing tone.

  • Uhhmmmm this isn't live!

  • I usually don't like such heavily effected vocals, but his sound pretty good. Definitely not a "dry" mix!
