What's very awesome is my high school, Morton West, was constructed in 1958 and bought all their musical equipment shortly after. Had to be about 1959 to 1960. Anyways, what's cool is the district back then bought all Ludwig and Zildjian products. So we have tons of beautiful vintage Ludwig drums. We have 3 of these 22" rides, 2 in a 20" size, and 1 18" crash. They all sound beautiful. The 22's sound just like this video. The sad thing is the kids don't know the value and rarity of these cymbals

I really appreciate this video. I agree. This is one of the most desirable rides i have ever heard. when i first heard samples of trans stamps it was a "ive found it" kind of revelation. by the way your website is also excellent. i wanted to ask you this. how often does a transitional stamp of this quality come along between the sizes 19-22. is it unrealistic of me to think i can get one on the net. if not where. if so what is the best modern equivalent (if it exists) of this cymbal?
