@thanethagreat Well, not really, gwar was much more violent/comedian like, with fake rituals with rubber monsters and shit. Lordi makes more epic hard rock than gwar and more serious, and additional each song tells a story (for example blood red sandman).

This was first video i ever saw from lordi and immediately fell in love with them. With the comination of Rock and Roll and Demonic Monster equals the perfect band for me.
