Edgar Allan Poe's pioneering story-poem. Inspired by Tom O'Bedlam's readings on the SpokenVerse channel, I tried to do this in one take, leaving in the mistakes. Thank you for listening.

  • @avery9819 Me, too. I wish more people were aware of it.

  • is the skull real?it sure looks like it

  • @TheRisingforce2000 Thanks! I love that skull, but it’s totally fake. We started with a plastic anatomical model, which I ingeniously left in the back window of my car. The heat warped it so the bones wouldn’t fit together anymore. I thought it was a total loss, but an artist friend asked me to let him have a crack at it. He re-shaped it over heat and aged it with smoke and food dyes.

  • @DeadlyKingdom I know! Most people only know The Raven by Poe which is pretty sad, because that's an amazing poem, but there is still better ones by him in my opinion.
