    Make sure your TV is digital (no more analog over the air in US/Can)

    Take a copper wire (or a paper clip) and stick it in the back of your TV input, then scan for signals (under the Air setting, not Cable setting).

    No channels = No signal in your area, or your TV just doesn't support this type of thing (My friend's HDTV with a built in antenna sees no signals, so it just goes to show)

    Also your antenna should be neat, not sloppy. Key to good signal is a %100 symmetrical antenna

  • @dellbell605 your balun (vhf/uhf transformer) could be broken too.
