@VermillionAlchemist Te is okinawan old martial arts.
Te(手)stands for hands or collective term of martial arts.
As far as I know, use of te in battle was recored in 16thC.
And karate(唐手chinese te)was used to distinguish between original te and te influenced by chainese martial arts.
It is generally said that te and唐手and other martial arts have been integrated to modern karate(空手te of bare hands) at around early 20thC.
But there are many schools anciently, the details are unclear.

@kijima445 I thought that the okinawan martial art of Te (if i remember correctly), was influenced by chinese Kung Fu, then changed to Karate when they went under Japanese control. If so, then it didnt come from Kung Fu, it was changed by it. Not so? Just askin?

I do BJJ and I have mad respect for Judo.

@Gieszkanne i never said "vedic" anything...(you brought up the vedic part) I talked about REAL martial arts relating BEFORE this, and which are the roots of these. The martial arts i was talking about are NOT THE SAME EXACT ONES AS JUDO, BUT INFLUENCED IT. It is very true that people faught, but they fought much like those teens today who act all tough, but fight worse than girls.

What is the name of the music?????
@mudvayneld50 Sorry about that. Most BJJ fighters are very respectful. But many MMA/UFC fanboys on youtube who worship the Muay Thai/BJJ combo often go trolling around leaving comments that show nothing but contempt for any style that doesn't come from Brazil or Thailand. I trained in Karate, Judo and Boxing as a teen, but apparently that's not good enough for some people. People should be free to study what they choose, not have some MMA dogma rammed down their throats.
