Mate... GREAT VIDEO! What an awesome job you did to find this stretch of road and follow it like that. Just a brilliant effort.
Train travel is a beautiful thing! It has a class about it, one completely missing from air travel.

Train travel is great.
I've taken trains as a passenger many times from the midwest in the U.S. to the west coast and back.
Once they get to Colorado, they climb into the Rocky Mtns and, the scenery is spectacular.
I love taking trains.
Unfortunately, they always make me give them back.;-/
I've enjoyed your videos, RB.

Damn! I clicked on this to see Dromedary Camels NOT Australian diesels. At least your steam locos have nice whistle as was here with the parallel running of LNER4472 and an Australian Pacific.

26 seconds ago Nice! Would have liked to see a bit more of the train close up though (I mean other than the loco and first few carriages) and the sound is really irretating. Also, were you filming the same one as in Chasing Camels #1, because it sure looks a hell lot like it!

Great chasing Rocketboy. I sometimes see Ghan liveried loco's working their way into and out of Perth with big freights. Would like to see more double stacks too if you ever have the cam handy when they come by. Thanks.

Wow! This video is great! I have the Austrains model of this very loco, so to see the real one, and moving like this, was quite a treat. Thanks.

I know Oz has a lot of different classes of Loco and yes I do like the "Bulldog's" as they are like a living history. But I gotta say this particular Class
(in Oz) is my fav. Slow thumping diesel sound cool but I also love the the high pitch whistle these thing make....Cheers
dang, I thought the train was gunna run over a camel
-.-

@onethousandways that train does now and then. Lots of loose camels in the Australian outback. The crews hate hitting them because they stand cab height.

That is a really neat looking locomotive. What is the Horse power. Never seen anything like that in the States
Has Austrailia ventured in to the Hyrbid locomotive yet.
