  • Hey Clark, Your Right, Weather on this day sucked Donkey Nuts, This Video do not to justice to how sick this car was flyin around the tight roads in Brigus, As for the Navagators, They Get a book with arrows and Descriptions about turns and other basic directions.

P.s. Also a Marshell on Brigus Course, and using Gf account on Youtube right now.

  • To elaborate further, the navigators don't have pace notes like you see on WRC.. they don't pre-run the course and get super specific on the turn information.

These targa events you're given a book with major 'instructions' (aka things you need to know to not die) and the navigator has to go from there. Different animal from WRC

  • i was a safety marshall on this course, 4th turn actually, seeing the weather conditions from camera view do not even start to do it justice, i think we had about 30-40mm of rain that day, and it sucked having to set up that complete course and then having to deal with delays. but seeing it was worth getting soaked and sick.

  • They have a specific route mapped out over legal-closed off roads, they are not on a track ... therefore, the navigator lets the driver know which turns are coming and how fast they are so he can focus on driving the car to its limit.

  • The Subie teams do this all the time, this was the first time Steve and Mike has worked together... if the drive is happy, then the navigator must be doing ok...

  • what are they trying to do? whats the point of the guy telling the driver where to go?

  • Great Driving - Terrible Navigator. Listen to Subaru teams if you don't believe me. They are so much faster and more descriptive.

  • wow i could not imagine rallying in a GT-R

  • Very, very impressive under those conditions!

  • Nice driving!
