  • Unfortunately US sprinting history is a sad litany of drugs cheats.

  • The "records" set in womens athletics during the 1980's are, I'm sad to say, an absolute JOKE. None worse than the USA's "Flo Jo" at 100m and 200m, closely followed by the 400m and 800m "records" set by Jarmila Kratochvílova. These 4 "records" will never be beaten. An absolute disgrace and embarrassment to the sport, and deep down everyone knows it.

  • @whitebootsify Yes, I realised that shortly after I'd posted. But, obviously, Koch's "record" is a joke like the rest of them.

  • @togjuice the 400 m world record was already beaten by Marita Koch

    in 1985.

  • @43vert She was an amazing person and athlete......For a drug cheat that is. All day the wind was blowing 4.0+ it just died for this race?

  • @togjuice Most of the female track records should be kicked out. It's complete nutz to keep them. Just look at the top ten all time womens 1500m. & from china all running sub 3.55 and in what year? Wow each did it in 93. Funny that.

  • when will the IAAF finally delete this hurricane WR??? the real WR should be her 10.61 for jesus' sake

  • The haters can say what they want, simply the greatest sprinter of all time. Working two jobs, working out at 12, 1am, amazing athlete and person.

  • this is the moment everyone should realise what a liar she was, all day the wind was blowing way way over the limit but in this one heat no doubt because of a fault she ran 10.49 in 0.0 then said the wind was down in an interview after and that she knew the wind was down and went fo it... well done flo jo on the greatest one year any athlete has had in history!

  • @runningshoe1 Except for her. Unless you can prove it....

  • @Slayton701 i agree with you....she isnt muscular.....not one bit.....she actually very sleek......hard work paid off....she was actually pretty too....very rare with women sprinters.....RIP
