Just a short video of the autonomous robot that I built using the Parallax Propeller multicore microcontroler along with two Propeller servo controllers and two Ping))) ultra sonic sensors. The sensors give it a very basic obstacle avoidance behavior. The completely original program that I wrote allows the robot to travel in any direction without having to turn its' body and the robot is always walking in the direction that it's head is facing. The body is a slight modification of Lynxmotion's AH3-R design. Parallax and Lynxmotion Rock!!

  • That looks awesome dude, how the hell did you make it.

    You must be a genius!

  • @MasterWhimp Hey Thanks, I taught myself by going through Parallax's "Boe-Bot" robot kit and then going on to the Propeller chip. I started about 2 years ago and it taught me how to do the programming and electronics. The also have a great Forum with people who help when you get stuck.
