Most of the people I've seen in these videos need longer strides with their sprinting. I've been jump-rope-sprinting for around 4 years now. I started it because I got bored with regular jump rope. My fastest 40 yard sprint was a 5.5, which isn't bad considering I'm slow and only run a 4.9 second 40 yard dash. If it becomes natural, your shoulders will move almost simallarly to how they move when you are sprinting without a rope.
