  • That is NOT about it.

  • @Bbadger81 Series II engine has that ironed out. Still I always let my '10 RX-8R3 warm up to at least the second warm up band (around the tach) before I shut her off. Takin' care of business man.

    ROTARY4EVER!!

    ZOOM-ZOOM!!!

  • Thanks, was thinking about buying one of these. Preciate the info man.

  • @TheIncription agreed.

  • Considering buying an 05 Shinka... Would it be a good idea to install a remote starter and turbo timer to let the car reach its proper warm up/cool down points?

  • @fabiandesignz Definitely work on that. Rotaries are made to rev - they'll love you for it. Keep that carbon away and redline it every time you drive it.

  • Thank you for this video. I do all these things. I always warm up my engine (at least until the needle reaches a little above the "C") even on hot days since I'm in Florida. Only thing I need to work on is running the RPM's above 6k which I never do. Good advice though. I baby my '04 as much as possible.

  • @salchipapa8000 its a blip in the fuel map that masda could not iron out,it dumps a gob load of fuel on start up and once the plugs are soggy it takes ages to dry out.

  • why do you have to warm up the car before you turn it off ? so lets just say you wake up turn the car on and forgot soem thing inside and you turned ot off right away , thats bad ? why would it flood the engine ?
