  • never use impact on cranksaft

  • The hammering can damage the bearings. Either buy the correct tool to hold the clutch or use a strap. That's the proper way to do it.

  • In most cases can you get to all of this without removing your engine/tranny?

  • Does a clutch kit come with sheaves. Not sure I spelled that right. I was told I need a clutch, belt, sheaves.... $900. Seems way to high to me.

  • i am a new quader. i am wandering if i change my clutch to aperformace clutch. what is the difference and what kind of changes will isee on my quad.

  • How did you get the secondary off whithout it spinning? Like how did you lock the secondary in place in order for you to take it off?

  • man im not looking forward to this my clutch on my 93 is grabbing like crazy

  • @hotbbojbud no idea.

    i am the second owner.

i have not taken the clutch apart.

the previous owner was the owner of a can am dealership so i'm guessing he did all his servicing there so i don't think he would of made the mistake of uneven weights either.

the problem ONLY occurs when you give it A LITTLE bit of gas, then the problem goes away.

  • @naggorski

could this be uneven weighting in the clutch?

  • how do you know when you broke the heelex.

i have an 07 outlander max and whenever 1 give it a very tiny amount of gas when the atv is in forward or reverse the atv starts to shake and make a knocking noise.

once you apply more throttle the shaking stops.

    i tryed everything.

    i checked the gearbox oil.

    cleaned the cvt.

checked the belt. (the belt has a small burn spot on it but it isn't that bad)

any suggestions what could be the problem?

  • They are called COILS... not coals.
