Cite this code you say exists...

@FinalStrife7 Do you know the actual law? If I shot a crossbow in my back yard would it be illegal? I dont think so. Yes I know when the cops are called the have a duty to investigate. Why would they attempt to apprehemend him? Does he have warrants? Why dont the cops tell you whats going on when you ask? And actually you dont have to "show your papers" to cops whenever they ask!!!!

@ozcrak The man they were trying to apprehend ran away. A criminal stepping onto his porch constitutes a cut-and-paste case of reasonable suspicion. Reasonable suspicion means a warrant (with an A, oh person who very clearly has studied so much of the law) is not necessary to go on the porch and arrest him.. ;)

@hvneuman What rights were violated?

@willsgotrythm42 Your argument is hollow because you don't say how they made it up. The man violated a municipal code with his crossbow. They got a call. It's their job to investigate, including ID him for warrants or probation. He refused to comply. They attempted to apprehend him, which is permitted under the full scope of the law. That's it. If you disagree with the law itself that they acted upon that's one thing, but it's fallacious to ignorantly claim they made it up. Srs?

trailer park?

It depends on where you live some cities classify bows as weapons and its illegal to discharge a weapon within city limits. Other areas have laws against using bows within a certain number of feet of residential dwellings. From what I can see in the video it's not like they have 5 acres of land. The houses look like they are right on top of each other, so he was probably in the wrong, but I could be wrong.

@slickman911 You sir are a fucking idiot!!!! In what realm do you believe that it is legal for cops to come to you and start making up the law??? If it was me I wouldve shot as many of those fuckers that came on my property as I could have. I wouldve also told my wife that they had no right to open my fucking gate!!!!
Isn't that just like two bull dyke police officers? Trying to break up a heterosexual family by sending the husband off to jail for a prostate massage and leaving the wife and kids alone without a paycheck.
