This is Helen's theme from 1992 movie Candyman. Phillip Glass was asked by the director Bernard Rose to write the score in 1990.

Phillip Glass is an American, contemporary composer. His music is minimalist although he prefers to describe his music as music with repetitive structures.

He has composed film scores, musical theatre works, operas, symphonies, concertos, string quartets and solo instrumental music.

Helen's theme is quite easy to play ( grade 2 to 3 standard) and the sheet music is available at
