i've been scratching regular ever since started, but i was told that hamster style sounds better and is easier. is this true? i almost dont want it to be because ive put so much time into learning regular.

both normal and hamster style has the same difficulty (in my opinion). hamster style has it's own distinctive sound and style and same goes for normal. but difficulty wise i think they are the same. it doesn't hurt to learn both style once you get over the awkwardness. also, if you use the up-fader to cut it's sorta like using hamster style (if you turn the up fader to its side then its like hamster style)....if that makes any sense =P
