we do diffrent first we check the plug take off the motor travel suport take off straps then trim the outboard all the way up.then my dad backs me half way down the ramp then we undo the wench.then he backs the tralier in the water till i say stop.at that point i trim the outboard in the water start it and let it warm up.then i say come on back when he backs up i put the boat in reverse and give it gas.once its off the trailer i tell my dad to pull out and then i go pick him up.

Great Video...my brother just bought a used boat and I know he doesnt have the common sense to do any of this so i figured i would watch a video in case im ever with him while hes unloading it!

my dad has one strap holding the boat which is the main strap in the front of the trailer.

Good video & nice boat. A couple things that I would add:
Use a chock behind the tow vehicle wheel for extra security.
Unplug the trailer lights. I know this is controversial but I do it.
If you are launching where there is a dock, tie your lines on before launching.
That's what I didn't like about that ramp at Beltzville. There isn't a dock right beside the ramp.

stupid video

Hi guys, great video and I'm sure a lot of people really appreciate it, including myself!
I just bought my very first Seadoo and I was wondering if you could show us how to do a 1-person launch of a PWC (or a boat)? Are there any tips or tricks to doing it yourself? This video gave me a lot of ideas but I would rather see how it can be done by the pros. Great videos and keep it up!
Hi BrokenFusion72, Thank you for your comment. Certain types of exhaust are not allowed at Beltzville. Exhaust systems that switch the exhaust from above to below water are restricted. This boat just has above water exhaust with no switch. So it is legal. Thank you for your comment. Enjoy the lake! There's some great coves to sit back and relax in.

very nicely done, guys. Bugt a few nitpicks:
1. You forgot to unplug your trailer lights. Yeah, they are supposed to be waterproof, but still a good practice.
2. You sould have told people to set the parking brake on the truck!
3. You should have had a line or two about "boat ramp courtosey" and to do the untying at the staging area, not on the ramp like so many people do.
4. Also some advice to practice backing at an empty parking lot or something.
But good job!

The video was shot at Beltzville Lake in Beltzville, PA. For more PA boating locations please visit the PA Fish & Boat Commissions county guide. Just Google "PFBC".
