@slayerdude10 Hey, man. The answer is no. Also, just because you have games on an external hard drive does not mean that you can play them. Your PS3 must be jailbroken. The only way to jailbreak a ps3 that is 3.72 right now is the e3 flasher which costs $80 and the PS3 is really only worth it because of how great online play is anyways. I know this news kind of sucks, but I'm pretty sure that's how it is right now.

Just curious what model/size HDD you use. For my Wii I use a seagate and was able to find a list of compatible HDD no problem, but couldn't find such a list for PS3, am I safe to assume most HDD will work?

@IronSheik00 I use a 250 GB Seagate. I think it is only dangerous if it is over a tb.

hey i backed up games to my external HDD , and i backed up games but when i load it , it wont change gamae it still says borderlands inside when i backed up mw2, or cod4, or blackops

@hexjoyce you can still copy a larger file than 4 gb on FAt32 as long as it doesnt come as 1 whole file..ex. i copied a game which is 6gb,but it consist of 1 folder but several files inside of it to make it 6gb..that will work..but a 6gb movie ripped into mkv file cannot be copied into a FAT32 hard drive..

my friend can you enlighten those of us that are so stupid as to how the fuck can you copy a PS3 game with such enormous sizes for example : Uncharted 3 has 46 GB and copy it on to a FAT 32 HDD when any FAT32 partition does not let you copy anything above 4 GB?
