  • sir you realize there is a slide release right?

  • @Daynknight1001

many people consider it a slide lock and use it accordingly

  • @GunWebsites Is that just a personal preference thing, or do you have a specific reason for operating it that way?

  • @TheSpiderfly

I find 1911s like as much force as they can get going forward so compressing the spring a bit more is not a negative IMO

  • is the reliability better in the sw 1911 than the taurus pt 1911?

  • @boomdog72

    usually, yes

  • I like the STI Spartan! You can get it for about the same price as the Taurus and it is a much higher quality gun and STI's customer service is rated #1!! I called Taurus a couple of times and was treated with disrespect and the woman that answered was very snotty and short with me when I asked her about the model with night sights. Crazy! I guess they sell a lot of these and people don't care about their poor service. Oh well...

  • The guy was shooting low because he was predicting the recoil can't blame the gun for that

  • @Pinstripedtie

Higher quality just because of customer service? Yeah right!

  • are you going to test or use the new 1911 of american tacticle imports the fatboy 1911

  • @dedicatedkiller11b

Yea, yer one of those.. you are not welcome here.

  • @TheIamfrustrated

Thanks, well I looked into it and it looks like a Taurus is a hit most of the time, miss sometimes.

Yeah, 1911s that are made to spec have surely been proven.

  • @RyanR3volution 1911 by design was a go to war gun, it still is. Assuming Taurus stuck with the specs (which if they are to call it a 1911 they have to) it should be able to able to get a bit dirty, I don't know how dirty however, I have no experience with it, hope it helps eh?

  • A gentleman offered to let me shoot his at the local shooting spot. first time i have ever shot a 1911, it was a very handsome looking pistol, and a pleasure to shoot.

  • i served 22 years in the military.i personally carried this taurus and it was a performer.i had no problems with this pistol in combat.believe me when i say this that this gun has taken a beating and it still performs top notch.i tusted my life with this pistol.
