The Defenders USA is a coalition of men who are opposed to all form of commercial sex. Defenders believe that pornography, prostitution, escort services, strip clubs, peep shows, and erotic massage parlors all contribute to the commercial sex industry, a market that exploits over 100,000 children a year.

Our objective is to spread awareness about realities of the victimization through porn and prostitution, while offering restoration for victims of sex trafficking. Defenders strive to end demand for commercial sex by educating and equipping men to speak out against this destructive trade.

4jacksFort, thanks for your response. It's really a pandemic, I've done quite a bit of research on the subject so I don't have much of a positive outlook. Also personally, I found out that a close friend of mine (known him 15 years) has been addicted to porn for over 30 years and I found child porn on his computer. A good book to read on the subject is "Pornified, How Pornography is Damaging Our Lives, Our Relationships, and our Families" by Pamela Paul. It's much worse than people think.

I would like to see your sources for the accusation that 1 in 5 child pornography. The USA is certainly the larger producer of it, but that number just doesn't seem right.

Also, your math doesn't add up. If its 3000 dollars a second, it would make pornography a 94 billion dollar a year industry.

The Defenders help many people out of certain vices that they hold and it also, along with Shared Hope International, actually rescues people from situations that they are forced into; that is: against their will.

It has never changed. If you don't provide people with porn they create their own, use there imagination, repress their urges, or go out raping. This has never changed. One month, only 1677 pledges. Two weeks ago when I first pledged myself and a friend it was around 1500. Only 489 views on youtube as of July 7, 2008. If you named the video "hot sex" or something similar you'd get more hits but most probably wouldn't listen to your message, they don't want to hear it. They believe it is their God given right. I'm telling you, most people really don't care what happens to these girls/women. They care only about their personal satisfaction.
