Sorry this video is up a little later than i wanted because the switch on my original Protege' died after roughly 4 days of use. I sent it back to Casey and she fixed it up no problem and shipped it back. The whole process probably took no more than 4 days total.

anyway , holy crap the Protege' is bad ass!
believe me when i say I'm being completely objective here , but this blows every other 3.7v device completely away. The batteries seem to never die and with the option of adapters for multiple atomizers the Protege' probably makes it one of the most versatile device available.

This is not just another 3.7v mod , it's machined out of stainless steel right here in the USA. It feels insanely durable and it keeps that "fresh of the charger" feel ALL-DAY-LONG.

i have had about a week and a half to use this and it has become my all day every day device without a doubt.

worth every penny i paid for it and then some.

  • would you recommend the protege over the screwdriver??? And is it worth the wait and time for the prodigy instead???

  • i love the Protege' , but that new screwdriver that TW is selling is really great also. The prodigy is a 5v device so it will perform differently than the protege' or the SD , which are only 3.7v devices.

  • I learned how to blow smoke rings from Scott's video too lol

  • dude , Scott is the king of vapor rings , i need like 2 more years practice to be as good as him ha ha..

  • Wow, I'm not gonna get one now. 3 days? Once they bump it up to a 1 year warranty I'll buy. The housing unit is the most expensive. Of course that's where the switch is. After 3 months your screwed

I heard the silver bullet IS WAY MORE concrete. You can beat the shit out of that thing, costs less, and supports 5 volts and 3 volt vaping. I'm going with that at the moment.

    Thanks for the review grimm!

  • The switch in mine is separate from the housing unit. It can be taken out , fiddled with , re soldered whatever. Also i believe the silver bullet is 6v with a 3.7v option ... stay tuned... i have a review of that coming up soon also...

  • Unprotected / Protected batteries pertain to the charging of the battery. Unprotected batteries will overheat if charged too long. A protected battery has a cut-off if it gets too hot. Both batteries will function identically once inside your PV.

  • @kgonepostl there's no comparison dude. This is a 3.7 device ONLY. If you want a BOWLING PIN in your pocket, go with the SB.

This is meant to be a tiny, sturdy 3.7.

    Hilarious comment though...

  • Ahhh I didn't notice the feeling of the PS emblem until you mentioned it

  • This review was spot on. I literally just received my Protege(with the new standard mech switch) and automatically noticed the things you pointed out. Thanks for the review!

  • He said I PMed Casey, you need to get your ears checked

  • Hey grimm I've watched some of your reviews and I had a question for you. I want a performance ecig and I was wondering which one is better in your opinion the screwdriver or protege??? Can you tell me which one produces better vapor, battery life, throat hit all the standard questions pretty much. I wanted to get a prodigy but they aren't making the current model anymore and they are making the v2 but I really don't feel like waiting that long. Thanks for reading.
