  • Funcionaría mucho mejor con el cinturón bien puesto. Y no suelto como está en el "test".

  • yeah, you guys who are seeing the video for the first time must be right, and I was that emphatic about the belts being tight with no backup whatsoever

  • Wrong. Those belts shouldn't have been that loose. It's obvious.

  • Oh really? Look at the belts, they are NOT as tight as they could be. Look at the angles of the latches and the connectors. The sled moves 8-10" before the dummy is moved. I know there is some belt stretch, but that's not very realistic for real-life racing applications, IMO. Anyone who gets into any race car with belts that loose, will have more than H&N issues to deal with if something goes wrong.

  • So you think Delphi Safety Testing, put their whole company on the line and deliberately temper with this HANS test to make them look bad?? If you don't know what Delphi Safety Testing is about, I suggest you do some research.

They are not 2 guys doing tests in their parents basement.

  • I guarantee that those belts were as tight as they could be - that is standard procedure at Delphi

  • Could you have left the belts looser? Geesh. No one I know that gets in a race car leaves the belts that loose, except maybe Dale Earnhart, and look at what that got him.
